Teachers are the gatekeepers between the formative ages of children and their passing into adulthood. In those intervening years, attitudes are formed and the strength of such attitudes gained. Findings from social psychology reveal that attitudes are major determinants of behaviour. The attitude strength of an individual is determined by their learning experiences. Our world is now media dependent, and social facilitations processes have become easier and quicker, now more than ever before, we are having an increased number of young school leavers with knowledge without character. This course is designed to equip teachers with contemporary psychological and social facilitation skills that empower them to function as mentors and life coaches as a way of impacting the moral character of their pupils and students.
Course Objectives
This course will equip the participants with skills that enable them become modern influencers. They will learn new pedagogies and how to implement them. The will equally be equipped with contemporary skills in psychology to deal with challenges that young people face daily.
